This policy explains what information the Sonbol Cafe website (sonbol.cafe) handles and why. The short version: the site has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no cookies, and it never sends your booking details to a server.

Table requests

When you fill in the reservation form, the details you type (name, phone number, date, time, number of guests, seating and any note) stay in your browser. The site turns them into a WhatsApp message, and nothing is sent until you choose to send that message.

Once you send it, we receive it on WhatsApp and use it only to confirm and manage your table. We do not use it for marketing and do not sell or share it. WhatsApp handles the message under its own privacy policy. To have a booking conversation deleted, ask us at the number above.

What is stored on your device

The site remembers two preferences in your browser's local storage: the language you picked and, if you changed it, light or dark mode. They never leave your device, and you can remove them by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

Hosting

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub may record technical data such as your IP address when your browser loads the pages, to keep the service secure and running. See GitHub's privacy statement. Fonts, images and video are served from the same site, so loading the page contacts no other company.

Links to other services

Links to Google Maps, WhatsApp and Instagram open those services, which apply their own privacy policies. We don't receive information from them about your visit.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
